Welcome to Gateway High School and our International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. We are very proud to offer an outstanding international educational program that aims to challenge students to think critically about the
world in which they live. Our program consists of the Middle YearsProgram (MYP), which is for all 9th and 10th
grade students, as well as our Diploma Program (DP) that is for any 11th or 12th grade student willing to take the challenge and work hard!
The vision and philosophy of our school and IB program is to: Empower Our Students to think globally and act locally, while embracing our diversity, challenging our mindsets to think
critically and to lead in our community. We strongly believe and research agrees, that the IB program prepares students for success in college and beyond!

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
